I thought of getting a permit and doing a
giant peace sign out of soldiers in Calgary's Olympic plaza or in
front of city hall. I think Summer Solstice or Spring Equinox is
the day I'd do it. One of my friend's suggests doing it using one
soldier per actual soldier involved (BIG)...and another said, let's
organize simultaneous projects in Vancouver, Montreal, etc.....
Another friend wants to find a manufacturer
and order the soldiers with "Bring me home!!!! www.mouthswideopen.org"
as part of the plastic mold so there is no more labeling. I wonder
if he'll do it?

You know, been
thinking … at this point in the war maybe it’s time
to cut out the middlemen. Maybe I should just address a few
hundred envelopes to King Bush – Black House? White Palace?
Castle of Doom? – something; and stick a little green "one
of all of the president’s men" in each and ship `em back
east. What are the rules about sending the Kid On The Throne
boy toys? (that happen to be tagged "bring me home"?)
One per envelope or boxes of 2000+ each? … just thinking

Hi,
I found your army man with the bayonet at
our public library. I think the army man was found somewhere else
and brought here to my library. I found it laying face down so the
label was facing me and I brought it home. Alesha, Iowa

Hey, so I think your toy soldier campaign
is pretty amazing, and I’m definitely printing out your stickers
(the Detroit thing is hilarious, I used to live there…),
but how do I order your buttons? I clicked the link and got
this email… what I really want is the 1984 one. Oh
man, that’s witty.
Keep doing what you’re doing. Ryan D. 1/16/2006
I found one!
I was at the Greek Island restaurant in Chicago
and one was on a toothpick table. This is an awesome idea,
I thought it was SO cool I found one! I’m definitely
going to spread these around. S.P., Chicago

Dear mouthswideopen.org,
My name is Gene Schultz I’m twelve years
old and from Philadelphia, PA. I was given army men at the demonstration
in Washington in September. I have been putting army men all around
the city of Philadelphia. In May I’m going to have my
Barmitvah. (ceremony of a jewish boys entry to adulthood).
I have to do a project to improve the world so I’ve been putting
these little army men around the entire city. I would like
to give out five packs to everyone at my party. I need several hundred
five packs to distribute. Could you send me these? E-mail
me back and let me know if you can. Gene Schultz, Philadelphia, PA
